Work can be a really important part of people's lives.  It gives us structure, purpose and security as well as meeting societal norms.  We play a critical role in vocational rehabilitation, helping you overcome barriers to employment (or other vocational activities) caused by physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.   Vocational rehabilitation aims to support you in regaining the skills, abilities, and confidence necessary to return to work or find you new opportunities. We bring a holistic, client-centered approach, focusing on you as the whole person.   Often we focus on all the pre-vocational skills that are required that you may be having difficulty with.  This could be anything from improving your sleep, to managing your personal care, driving or being able to plan and manage your time.  Being able to understand the demands of a job role is core to then creating a bespoke intervention plan to determine your physical, cognitive and emotional ability to return to work.

We play a key part in return-to-work planning, collaborating with employers, insurers, and other healthcare professionals to create a step-by-step plan for your successful reintegration into the workforce.   This could include amendments to your job role, changes to your work pattern, or environmental modifications.  If you aren't able to return to the job you were doing, or would like to be doing, we will work with you to determine transferable skills and identify alternative options that motivate and interest you.
